CREATING SUCCESS EDUCATION CENTER

The mission of Creating Success Education Center is to provide high-quality child care to children, families, and the community through a program that nurtures the student’s social, physical, emotional, and academic development, inspires imagination, creativity, and exploration, and engages the community through service. Creating Success Education Center serves children in a fun, fair, orderly, and safe learning environment to encourage increased student achievement.

The Creating Success Education Center is home to the Preschool/Childcare Center, Creating Success After School (CSAS) Program, and the Summer Learning Program (SLP). Students in all programs at the Creating Success Education Center participate in daily activities and lessons to stretch their imaginations while developing their academic skills as we seek to prepare them for the next phase of their educational journeys.

We are not only focused on the academic success of the students, but the physical and social success as well. Each day students are served nutritious meals and snacks and physical activity is integrated with the planned activities.  Students build community with each other, develop interpersonal relationships, and increase confidence through their participation in our educational programs.

CSEC Philosophy

Creating Success Education Center’s staff are committed to fostering a comprehensive and balanced educational program for all students. We believe students must be taught through innovative, project-based learning and assessment-supported methods.

Staff members must have an understanding of the development stages of children and teach to support various learning styles. It is our belief that student achievement is reached through collaboration with the home, school, and community.

We encourage children to become enthusiastic learners by providing them with choices and opportunities to be responsible for themselves to the degree appropriate to their level of development. Intentional learning opportunities are integrated throughout the daily routine and presented through a variety of methods.
